— Eric Adams sat for an interview with right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson in Gracie Mansion that was released last night. In it he said that “the [Democratic] party left me and it left working-class people,” argued that his charges were fabricated in response to his criticism of Joe Biden’s immigration policy, and and refused to take a position on most of Trump’s policies. — NYC agency employees have been instructed to block federal officials from facilities. This includes the FBI, CBP, and ICE. The all-staff email said that employees must first get authorization from the General Counsel’s office before proceeding. Emails like this have been sent to DCAS, DOE, DSS, and more. (The City)
— More than 3,000 NYCHA residents will go without heat or hot water on the coldest days of the year, as the recurring issues with NYCHA housing continue to grow in scope and scale. Services have already been restored to some residents, and NYCHA continues to work to turn back on the rest. (Gothamist)
