HIGHLIGHTS: Michael Blake Sits for Interview with New York Editorial Board

Michael Blake sat down for an interview with the New York Editorial Board, a body created to replace the purpose of the NYT editorial board after they announced they would no longer make endorsements for local New York politics.
Blake, who is currently polling among the worst in the primary field, needs to make a name for himself. Whether he distinguished himself is up to you. We read through the transcript and pulled out all of the best bits.
ON ANDREW CUOMO:
"Andrew’s consistently a bully. If he does not like what you’re saying or doing, he will find every possible way to make it clear of his displeasure"
ON ERIC ADAMS:
"He’s made it abundantly clear that what was more important was kissing up to Trump rather than doing what’s best for New York, and this is about survival."
ON THE REST OF THE PRIMARY FIELD: "I find all of them impressive except for Andrew Cuomo. And I have not made a decision on who I’m ranking."
ON DOGE CUTS:
"If he comes for us in cutting funding, we would work in collaboration with employers to withhold sending federal taxes to DC. You can see this is a man that clearly, when you check him, stands down quite quickly."
ON PAST CONTROVERSY OF NOT REGISTERING AS A FOREIGN AGENT WHILE WORKING FOR A POLITICAL PARTY IN BERMUDA:
"Should someone be working for the advancement of a government or a policy for another country? No. You can’t do that. There’s obviously clear conflict. But that was not the case."
When asked if he ever conducted business for that in the US, like a phone call, which would require registering as a foreign agent:
"Do I remember ever taking a phone call while [doing] the job? I guess I potentially did take a phone call. I mean, it’s hard for me to remember, do I remember taking a phone call?"
ON HIS APPEARANCE AS A CHRONIC CANDIDATE:
"There are many examples of exceptional public servants who have run for multiple positions before being successful."
